The origin signal
The band formed in a dim apartment above a Berlin record store, where four collaborators discovered they shared the same fracture — a love of art colliding with the late-capitalist unease of the present tense. What began as late-night sessions became a publishing project, a record label, and a research desk rolled into one.
The name is a diagnosis and a dare. We write from the schizoid band, the liminal frequency where identity fractures and reforms. Every essay, mix, and field recording is a dispatch sent back from that edge.
Read the manifesto →Our Values
Dissonance as Method
We chase the productive discomfort where mainstream culture breaks down and something stranger, truer, begins to surface.
Sentiment Without Sentimentality
Emotion is the substrate, not the spectacle. Our work lingers in the bruise rather than the wound, the ache rather than the cry.
Intellectual Trespass
We move between philosophy, music criticism, film, and theory without passport. Boundaries are noise to be filtered, not obeyed.
By The Numbers
We are not nostalgic for the future we were promised. We are archivists of the one that arrived, glitches and all.

The collaborators
Behind every dispatch is a network of critics, sound designers, philosophers, and night-shift contributors. Some write under names. Some write under influence. All are tuned to the same unstable wavelength.
We commission long-form essays, ambient mixes, and interview dossiers from voices we trust to say the unsayable — the people who notice what the algorithm forgot to file.
